During my travel, I will discover the different places along the way at the same speed as someone did a thousand years ago. Today though, it is possible for an unimaginable amount of people to take part at that trip - without even having to get out up from their desk at home, just like you right now! The information on this web site is accessible to you almost instantly, even though it has to travel all the way from Copenhagen, where it is stored, to wherever you are. A velocity that was unimaginable to human beings in medieval times.

Today, we know a variety of different speeds: walking, riding a bike, driving in a car or train and flying. We are used to the way our perception changes, when traveling at one of these speeds. As a matter of fact, what is least known to most of us, is how traveling a long distance is perceived at the humans most natural speed: by walking.

Through this site on the web, you can take part in this trip. Of course, your experience will differ from mine, because of the limitations of the Internet. It is media based. Using pictures, little stories and interviews, I hope to be able to make this experience as vivid and colorful as possible for you.

At best, you will be motivated to go out and do the same, to explore new places and get to know the people living there. They will do certain things in a different way than you. By comparing, you can discover new possibilities as well. Today's Europe invites you to do so! Of course, it does not have to be a trip on foot right away...

I hope you enjoy my web site!
