A round Palloza in O Cebreiro. The celtic tradition of constructing houses in this style is more than 2500 years old - some were inhabited until only a few years ago.
Galicia. Throughout hundreds of years pilgrims have looked forward to get to this region in the northwest of Spain. The route enters via O Cebreiro, in medieval times there used to be an important pilgrims hostel here.
It rains a lot, therefore the land is very green. In fact, it starts raining not even five minutes after I have passed the sign signalizing that I have entered Galicia.
These last about 160km to Santiago are probably the most beautiful ones of the whole Spanish Camino: Lots of small paths leading through forests, fields and tiny villages.
