It starts to rain heavily when I get to Sahagún so I decide to stay. The refuge is very interesting, it is built into a former church, a second floor was put half way through the nave.
Later in the evening the rain stops, I am sitting in a bar, after a while it gets quite crowded, mainly men - which is typical for Spanish bars, the men are always in the majority - in this case also because the soccer game Barcelona - Malaga is put on the big screen. I am staying for the first half time, then I go back to the refuge to have dinner and go to bed - my rhythm here is quite different from the one back home - I go to bed around ten in order to get up around seven in the morning.
