Burgos lets me go, out of the warmth of the homely little streets and the inviting cafes, into the plain open land, where a fierce wind blows and hard raindrops fall out of the dark-blue sky.
I am used to this by now, in a month and over a distance of 500km it has become my everyday life: To get up early in the morning, a walking distance of 20-30km ahead, to a new place with new faces around and another bed to sleep in the following night. Step by step, the running and competing of normal everyday life is far away as well as political and public matters. Human aggression, leading to wars in the worst case, is even less imaginable, while you meet people from many different nations and see them sleeping peacefully under the same roof at night.
