Burgos was founded in the 9th century. In the 11th century it became the first capital of the new kingdom Castillia, which it was until the 15th century. Today, Burgos is a lively city with many monuments, especially its huge cathedral.
I stayed two days. The bigger cities are very different from the smaller towns: The streets full of people, whatever you may need, you know you will find a store to buy it. And a bar to warm up, have a coffee, a drink or a tapa is never far away.
But first, you have to pass the industrial zone and the suburbs, in order to get into the center...
