Logroño, the capital of the region La Rioja, known for its wine. After all a bigger town with a few nice and a lot of ugly parts. Part of this rather negative impression might also be caused be the weather; rain, rain and rain.

The hostel is good though, very nice kitchen, I cook myself a good supper, later I discuss the worlds social and economic situation with Steve, a stock broker from Philadelphia.

I am spending the next morning in two different cafes in town before I start for Navarrete around two o'clock.
